Brandon Mathieu

Director for the Center of Student Involvement

Bringing more than a decade of progressive higher education experience, Brandon joined Northeastern University in March 2022. In his role, he provides leadership and strategic direction for a department portfolio that includes event ticketing and program operations, fraternity/sorority life, graduate student programming, leadership development, signature and traditional campus programs, and student engagement. He and his team develop and execute innovative educational and social co-curricular engagement opportunities that are intentionally designed to enhance the experiential learning and holistic development of Northeastern students in Boston and across the global University network.

Prior to Northeastern, Brandon has held positions at both public and private colleges and universities in various student affairs settings, including campus activities, facility operations management, fraternity/sorority life, leadership development, and new student orientation. He holds membership in several inter/national organizations, and currently serves as a volunteer for Tri Sigma sorority. He is a former volunteer for the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA), and is the recipient of several awards, including the 2021 President’s Award for Outstanding Contribution (Pace University), the 2016 Doug Austin White Ribbon Award (Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention), and the 2015 Outstanding Fraternity/Sorority Advisor (Phi Sigma Sigma).

Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree, both from Syracuse University. He is an avid Orange basketball fan! When he’s not on campus, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, adventures and exploring with his dog (Luna), relaxing on the beach, and checking out new food spots.
