Darin Martin

Associate Director of Program Operations

Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Darin moved to Boston in September 2022 to serve as the Associate Director of Program Operations. As a member of the Leadership Team, Darin provides support and supervision of the critical operational functions that support CSI and the University, including ticket center operations, communications and marketing, systems management, Programming Lab Operations, the New Student Initiatives Program, the Student Club Advisor Program and contracting processes. Darin came to Northeastern after 10 years at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, both as a student and professional. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Director of the Center for Campus Involvement, overseeing auxiliary business and Major Event operations in the five major on-campus venues. Previously, he advised the University Activities Center, a programming board made up of student coordinators and seventeen student organizations. Darin earned a Master’s degree in Student Access and Success through the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education (CSHPE), and a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Performing Arts Management. Through his time as a student, Darin was very involved with the Michigan Marching and Athletic Bands as a tuba section rank leader turned Graduate Instructor for the program.
