BLUEPRINT

BLUEPRINT is a program for first-year and transfer undergraduate students who are interested in developing a strong leadership foundation. In BLUEPRINT, you’ll make new connections on campus, enhance your leadership skills, and develop an action plan for how you want to leave your legacy at Northeastern. 

BLUEPRINT II

BLUEPRINT II is an advanced leadership program for undergraduate students who have previously completed BLUEPRINT. This retreat-style program gives students the opportunity to put their social change leadership skills to the test in small groups as they work to develop a new program, activity, or initiative on campus.

Civic Leadership Action Program

The Civic Leadership Action Program is open to all upper-class undergraduate students. CLAP equips students with the tools to become civic-minded leaders in their communities, both on and off campus. During the 8-week program, participants will identify and complete one “civic action” to make a positive social change in their chosen community.

Voices for Social Change

Voices for Social Change is a program for all undergraduates designed to discuss leadership through the lens of social justice and identity. Voices focuses on relationships between identity and leadership within the US and across the globe. Participants will explore ways to develop as inclusive leaders and advocate for positive social change.

Graduate Programs

Graduate Leadership Institute

The Graduate Leadership Institute is our premiere leadership experience designed exclusively for graduate students! Participants have the opportunity to network and build community across industries while enhancing their proficiency in the global leadership competencies necessary to catalyze their career development.

FUN FACT: GLI is currently our only program offered across the Northeastern global network, involving students from campuses all round the world!

Get Involved as a LEAD360 Student Facilitator

LEAD360 offers Student Facilitator roles for programs like BLUEPRINT, CLAP, Voices for Social Change, and GLI. In this role, facilitators work alongside faculty or staff to guide cohorts through weekly sessions exploring leadership, civic engagement, diversity, and social justice, creating a safe space for learning and fostering a sense of belonging on campus. Get Involved as a LEAD360 Staff Facilitator

As a faculty or staff facilitator, you’ll build meaningful relationships with exceptional student leaders in a close-knit cohort, while honing your facilitation, mentoring, and presentation skills. Faculty and staff co-facilitate our BLUEPRINT, Voices for Social Change, and GLI programs that run for 6-8 weeks each semester. This facilitation opportunity is a great way to interact with students in a new setting to help them explore their own leadership capabilities. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply for a LEAD360 program?

We accept applications for our cohort programs every fall and spring semester, and the applications will typically launch on the first day of classes! The link can be found on our Instagram (follow us at @nulead360) or check out our LinkTree for the direct URL (linktr.ee/nulead360).

How many students are admitted to each program/cohort?

For our undergraduate programs, we keep our cohorts small on purpose, with one faculty/staff facilitator, one student facilitator, and a maximum of 15-20 students per group. This is an intentional choice, as our cohort are designed to help you build relationships and develop a strong community with your fellow Husies!

Our GLI cohorts, tend torun a bit larger due to capacity with about 30 particpants per session.

What is the program schedule?

LEAD360 sessions are typically scheudled in the late afternoon or early evening to best accomoodate class schedules. Certain programs (like BLUEPRINT and GLI) have multiple cohorts offered each semester, so you can join the one that makes the most sense for you! Meetings typically begin around one month into the semester, and wrap up before final exams begin. 

How long is each session?

The weekly sessions for BLUEPRINT are 75 minutes long, and the sessions for the Civic Leadership Action Program , Voices for Social Change, and GLI are 90 minutes each. 

Are there leadership positions within LEAD360?

Yes! Studntswho have completed one of our programs are highly encouraged to apply to serve as Student Facilitator in the future term. This role gives student the opportunity to practice the leadership skills you have learned in a peer mentor role for other future leaders!
