Mike Sampson

Associate Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life

Mike joined Northeastern University in November 2021 as the Associate Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life. In his role, he provides strategic direction and support for Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) and LEAD360 (circular and identity-based leadership programs). Prior to Northeastern, Mike worked at Florida State University (FSU), where he spent 3.5 years working with all four councils in a FSL community of over 45+ chapters and 6,000+ members. Prior to FSU, Mike has worked at both public and private universities, serving the campus community in the fields of Residence Life, and Career & Academic Advising. Mike is a proud member of a local fraternity in his undergraduate years, serving as chapter president, new member educator, and recruitment chairman to name a few. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Counselor Education with a Specialization in Student Development in Higher Education from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). As a Connecticut native, Mike recharges his batteries outside of the office by hiking, snowboarding, and traveling/eating his way through the New England area!
