Ticketing
The Northeastern online ticketing platform is powered by Paciolan and can be found at nuhuskies.evenue.net. All tickets for events hosted by campus departments or student organizations must be sold exclusively through this platform. The following policies refer to non-athletic events.
For any ticketing related inquiries, please reach out to tickets@northeastern.edu.
Information for Ticket Sellers
When is Ticketing Required?
- Any event that brings a contracted artist to the Fenway Center, Blackman Auditorium, Curry Student Center Ballroom, and/or Afterhours must be ticketed to ensure that capacity is not exceeded for any of these venues.
- Any event that requires a fee or payment to participate must use the Northeastern ticketing platform.
Setting up Ticketing
- All ticketing preferences must be identified on NU Engage.
- For student organizations, please submit an Event Request on NU Engage.
- For non-student organization events, please submit a Ticketing Request form at least 10 days prior to you desired on-sale date.
- Organizers will be informed, prior to their confirmed on-sale date, once an event has been built in the platform and how tickets can be claimed for their event.
Ticket Audience Types
There are many different ticket audience types to select from when considering who you would like tickets to be available to:
- NU Undergraduate Only
- NU Undergraduate + 1 Guest *
- NU Community Only (this includes current NU students, staff, and faculty – it does not include alumni)

*Please note that any event open to the general public or any event that allows non-Northeastern guests (NU+1) may be subject to additional security costs and require an NUPD police detail.*

Ticket On-Sales
- Ticket sales open at 1:00 pm ET on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday afternoons to ensure adequate staffing for monitoring.
- Any contracted events must have a fully executed contract before tickets may be put on sale. Organizations also need approval from any paid performers or speakers before tickets can be sold.
- Once tickets are on sale, organizers will receive regular reports on the quantity of tickets sold at the frequency and to the email address(es) of their preference.
Ticket Scanning
For Blackman Auditorium, Fenway Center, Curry Ballroom, and McLeod Suites, organizers will need to work with the appropriate venue manager to determine staffing needs for ticket scanning.
For all other spaces, there is NO staff available for scanning tickets. Organizers can work with the ticketing team to get a list of attendees for check-in prior to their event.
Ticket Revenue
- For all events where tickets are sold (not free), there is a $3 per ticket fee that goes directly to maintenance costs to our ticketing system. When completing the ticket section on an NU Engage event request, you must indicate the price each buyer type is to be charged per ticket, inclusive of the $3 per ticket fee.
- Unless otherwise determined, all ticket revenue for Student Activity Fee (SAF) funded events will be returned to the SAF.
- For any non-SAF funded ticketed events, paperwork to transfer revenue for ticket sales is submitted to the budget office on the 15th of the month following your organization’s event. After that date, ticket revenue will be transferred to the appropriate account.
